React Native Intern

Internship, Gurugram

Wigle is how a small group of people in a city end up doing something together, instead of scrolling past each other. This internship is on the mobile product: the same work on iPhone and Android. You will be in Gurugram, close to the people deciding what that product should feel like. The point of the internship is to ship, not to watch.

What you will do

  • Take a piece of the mobile product from a clear brief to something a person can open and use.
  • Care about what a person notices in their hand: the wording, the spacing, and what happens when something fails.
  • Fix problems you can reproduce yourself, and explain what you changed.
  • Sit with the people who wrote the brief and the people who will use what you built.

What you need

  • You have built something in React Native, or in React and you have put it on a phone.
  • You can show the code or the product.
  • You can explain a decision you made in the interface.
  • You can be in the Gurugram office for the internship.

About Wigle

Wigle starts from a simple belief. Every city is already full of the right people for you. The difficult part is not another feed of everything happening nearby. It is meeting them in real life, and the best way to do that is to do something together first.

We are building the platform for those real-life social experiences, and we are launching in Gurugram. A plan, a time, a small group, the same part of the city. The people come with the plan.

This is a founding-team-adjacent role. You will work directly with the people building the company, on the work itself, not inside a department that sits apart from the product.
